If you want to live longer, you need to be stronger!

Strength isn’t just about lifting weights, your heart needs to be strong too. Count all the signs in your body that can predict how long you'll live and at the top of the list is your fitness level (V02 max) and strength .

Improving your V02 max is a great way to live longer and stay healthier. It shows how efficiently your body takes in oxygen, moves it through your blood, and uses it in your muscles to produce energy for movement and function.

A higher V02 max is strongly associated with a lower risk of chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes, as well as a decreased risk of early mortality. In general, the greater your V02 max, the younger your physiological age.

The good news is that regardless of your current fitness levels, even moderate increases in V02 max lead to significant increases in life expectancy!
